Feral herbivore control at Yookamurra

The 1,100 hectare feral-free area on Yookamurra is free of all feral herbivores.

Outside of the feral-free area, the only significant feral herbivore is the rabbit.  AWC staff undertake rabbit control by baiting and shooting.

Feral goats occasionally occur outside the fenced area:  they are controlled by trapping and/or shooting.
