Six Artists | Seven Days: the AWC Mornington Sanctuary Kimberley Exhibition - 7 - 31 August 2013

Defiance Gallery in conjunction with the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and Lea and Bill Ferris, are pleased to present:

SIX ARTISTS | SEVEN DAYS -- The AWC Mornington Sanctuary Kimberley Exhibition

The exhibition features paintings and works on paper by Elisabeth Cummings, Idris Murphy, Peter Godwin, John Peart, Lucy Culliton and works by acclaimed photographer Jason Capobianco. Six Artists | Seven Days is the culmination of a project that began over a year ago when the artists were invited to spend a week exploring the 320,668 hectares of protected wilderness working closely with scientists from AWC's Mornington Wildlife Sanctuary in the Kimberley.

Each artist has generously donated a major work to AWC. The exhibition is curated by Campbell Robertson-Swann and Lauren Harvey, Defiance Gallery.

Six Artists | Seven Days represents a major initiative by AWC, bringing together the worlds of art and science in support of our efforts to protect special places like Mornington and its threatened wildlife.

AWC thanks the artists and galleries for their generosity in supporting our work.
